Art Hop

The Art Hop is a huge Art show where local businesses and studios in Burlington open up their doors to showcase some of Vermont's finest artists. I was lucky enough to show this year and it was an amazing experience. I had a blast meeting new people and seeing a lot of friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Here are a few poladroid shots of the studio (G2) where I do most of my work. Thanks to everyone who made it out and to my studiomates for making the space kick@ss for the night. It was a ton of fun and if you couldn't make it this year, I highly recommend it for next.

More Polaroids

Here are a few things that I pass on my daily walk to work.

Polaroidness

I recently came across this fun new app called "Poladroid" that color shifts your digital photos into that classic liquid crystal tone. I've never been a fan of those "one click photo filters" but this one does such a decent job, its worth trying out. Its interactive too, so you actually click and shake the polaroid to develop your nostalgia. While fun and interactive the first few times, it becomes a bit of a chore and reminds me of the photos I used to take as an impatient kid. Anyways, here's a few that I have tried. Some pictures work better than others depending on their initial contrast/hue and saturation. You can get the app here. Plus they have a flickr group here, so you can upload your photos to a gallery.
